What began with a cooked meal and a conversation with caring volunteers soon evolved into trusted relationships – ITAV soon created family and community in Baton Rouge where there were none.
As ITAV faithfully works to provide food and clothing while also promoting dignity to their homeless neighbors, lives are transformed and spirits are lifted. Their efforts helped to build a network of resources to lift them off the streets.
Every Sunday, ITAV meets under a bridge in Baton Rouge and supplies the community with clothing, shoes, hot meals and entertainment! It's like one big family reunion every Sunday. Not so much focusing on the disadvantages, but celebrating community and life.

With dignity and respect, ITAV caring volunteers prepare and deliver wholesome meals, clothing essentials, and hygiene products to their homeless brothers and sisters.
